22. Thomas DICKONSON died on 16 May 1725 in Tatham, Lancashire, England. It is unclear who Thomas's parents are. In the IGI Lancashire there is a Thomas Dickinson, with an "i", born to Richard Dickinson 6 Jan 1681 in Melling, near Lancaster. This would make him 20 when he married, a likely age, and the location is close to Tatham, but the spelling of the last name is not the same. Sometimes it is irregular though in records.

The other entry found is of a Thomas Dickonson marrying Mary Addison 15 Dec 1660 in Tatham. However, the only child of theirs mentioned in the Tatham register is a James, baptized 13 Oct 1661. He was married to Mary WHITENDALE on 14 Feb 1701 in Tatham, Lancashire, England.

23. Mary WHITENDALE . There is no information found on Mary's family. There are no other Whitendale entries in the Tatham registers, and the IGI Lancashire, which groups this surname with that of Whittingdale, shows no birth which could be Mary's. It is possible the family came from Westmorland or Yorkshire, the neighbouring counties. I will have to check their IGIs. Children were:

child iv. William DICKONSON was born in 1709 in Tatham, Lancashire, England. He was baptized on 30 Jan 1709 in Tatham, Lancashire, England.
