286. Samuel BUCKMAN was born on 16 Feb 1763 in Boston, Massachusetts. He died after 1838 in Westport, Nova Scotia. Samuel was among the Loyalist settlers at Brier Island in 1784. He probably met Azubah there and married shortly afterwards. In 1794 Samuel purchased property at Westport from Moses Morrell. Samuel and Azubah lived at Westport and had at least nine children, the baptismal records of whom are found in the Trinity Parish records, Digby. He was married to Azubah RICE.

287. Azubah RICE was born on 15 Apr 1763 in Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia. Azubah was from Westport, the daughter of Judah. Samuel was among the Loyalist settlers at Brier Island in 1784, and probably met Azubah there and they married shortly afterwards. Children were:

child ii. Jane BUCKMAN was baptized on 24 Sep 1791 in Westport, Nova Scotia. She was born @1791 in Westport, Nova Scotia.
child iii. William BUCKMAN was born in 1791 in Westport, Nova Scotia. He was baptized on 24 Sep 1791 in Westport, Nova Scotia.
child iv. Stephen BUCKMAN died after 1861. He was born @1795 in Westport, Nova Scotia.

child vii. Letty BUCKMAN was baptized on 17 Sep 1810 in Westport, Nova Scotia. She was born in Westport, Nova Scotia.

child ix. Benjamin BUCKMAN was born in Westport, Nova Scotia.
