36. Edward Snow DENTON was born on 24 Jul 1816 in Digby Neck, Nova Scotia. He died on 14 Apr 1878 in Westport, Nova Scotia. In the 1861 Westport census, there is an Edward Denton as head of a family of 4 males and 7 females. In the 1871 Westport census, Edward G. and Jane, aged 55 and 40 respectively, are living on Brier Island with five children, including 5-year-old Fenwick. He was married to Jane (Sulis?) WALKER on 7 Aug 1862 in Westport, Nova Scotia.

Jane (Sulis?) WALKER died on 19 Jan 1905. She was born @1831 (aged 40
on 1871 census). In the stuff Betty Peters sent me, it says Jane's mother was
named Marie, surname not given. Also that Jane was probably born in Long Island,
NS. Children were:

Ann DENTON was born in 1862 in Westport, Nova Scotia. She died on 3 Feb
1878.

Catherine DENTON was born in 1868 in Westport, Nova Scotia.

on 11 Nov 1937.

Annie May DENTON was born in 1877 in Westport, Nova Scotia.
