Sarah HINCKLEY.17370. Samuel HINCKLEY was baptized on 25 May 1589 in St John Church, Harrietsham, Kent, England. He emigrated in Mar 1635 from to Massachusetts on the Hercules. He died on 31 Oct 1662 in prob. Barnstable, MA. He was born bef 25 May 1589 (baptism) in Tenterden, Kent, England. Samuel and his wife came from Hawkhurst, Co. Kent, England on the Ship Hercules in March 1635. Samuel married secondly Bridget Bodfish. He settled at Scituate, Massachusetts where he was admitted a freeman 2-7-1637, and moved to Barnstable where he was a juror and town officer. There were other children who died in infancy. See "The Hinckleys of Truro," by Shebnah Rick. Samuel was "gentry" and was a "yeoman" and "Elder" in MA. He was married to Sarah SOULE on 7 May 1617 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England.

Kent, England. Sarah was admitted to the church at Scituate, Mass. 30 Jul 1635.
