Edward Krein PENTZ was born on 25 Nov 1834 in Windsor Rd., Nova Scotia. He died on 21 Jun 1922 in Nova Scotia. Edward lived most of his life in Mt Uniacke, farming as a living. He lived there first with his mother and siblings and then, after her death, married and raised his own family in the area.

In the 1901 South Rawden census, the last that has been released to the public,Edward, 66, is head of the household comprising Maria, 56, Parthemia, 35, Joohn, 30, Orland, 24, Lillian, 20, Winnifred, 15 and his brother George, 82. It is not known where his sons Sherman, Cecil and Irvan have moved to at this time.

Upon Edward's death, the family farm went to his son John, who later passed it on to his nephew Roy Pentz. Parents: Jacob Ernst PENCE and Anna Maria CORKUM.
