Her father George was the son of Thomas Colicut (d. before 1779) and Margaret (d. 20 Mar 1779, Chester). Her mother Elizabeth was the daughter of Johannes Hogin (b. @1697) and Elizabeth Laugenauer (b. @1700). Elizabeth Hogin was born in 1734 in Alterswilen, Thurgau, Switzerland, and died before 1817 in Nova Scotia.

Elizabeth married at the age of 16 and had her first child a year or two later. She was to have the last of her 15 children at the age of 44. Parents: George COLICUT and Elizabeth HOGIN (HOAGG).

She was married to George Henrich CORKUM on 16 Sep 1777 in DRC Lunenburg recorded, by Rev. Bruin Rumkes Comingoe of Lunenburg. We first find him getting married in 1760 to a young widow, 26, with three young children, Elizabeth Hogin. They went on to have nine children of their own between 1761 and 1778.

On the Return of Settlers, 1783, Chester district, George Collicutt is listed as settled in 1760 and had a family of 4 males and 6 females. His eldest daughter Elizabeth had already married at the age of 16, and presumably the Risto children had already left the home.

His date of death is not known at this time. Parents: Thomas COLICUT and Margaret.
